Auction Open: Word Challenge

I'm hiding my dog in the wonderlands of nature for he always ruins my perfect phantastes of balancing pilates on broomsticks and sitting in my favourite place to scrawl calligraphy letters.

OK, so your challenge (aside from bidding on your favourite bag) is to use all the words from the titles of this week's bags in one sentence with the least number of extra words (I used 19).

Bid on a bag by leaving a name and a bid in the comments section for the bag you want. Or just comment and say NICE and HAPPY and CHEERFUL things. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s. The highest bidder at 9pm (PDT) on Saturday, October 4th gets the bag!

Note on bidding: Please leave a name, nickname or handle of some sort. This is an informal and trusting system, but "anonymous" just won't do and "anonymous" bids will be disregarded. :(

Washing Donations

Rest assured, "washing donations" isn't the same as "laundering money". With all the fabric donations that come in, I have to do a lot of loads of washing these days. This week's bags feature donations from friends, family, co-workers, and strangers. The generosity out there is truly touching.

Please note, the closing time for bidding has changed. Taking into consideration all of the feedback and my own desire to sleep in on Saturdays, I have come up with a time that will make everyone happy ... in my dreams!

How to Bid

I've tried to keep bidding at Bags for Zaza simple. Here are instructions if you're not sure what to do.

Look at the bags. Read the description and click on the pictures for larger views. Read the last paragraph of the description to find out where the bag is and when the bidding ends. When you've found a bag you want to bid on...

Step 1: Click on the title of the bag.


Step 2: Scroll down past the description and read the comments

Figure what the highest bid is on the bag and decide if you would like to bid higher.







Step 3: Click on Post a Comment


Step 4: Enter the amount of your bid and your name

Comments and suggestions are welcome, too.











Step 5: Enter the Verification Word

If strange word appears - type the word into the box provided.






Step 6: Click on the Anonymous radio-button

Feel free to choose a different button - anonymous is the quickest.








Step 7: Click on the PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT button


Step 8: Check back after bidding closes to see if you've won the bag. If you have, please email me at BagsForZaza@gmail.com to arrange payment and pickup/shipping.

This day did NOT go as planned; I'd intended to post these delicious beauties much much earlier, but camping trips, academic papers, broken VWs and impromptu visits changed everything. But I think it'll be alright.
