Our Bags for Zaza fundraiser has been wrapped up for awhile now. But I was just doing some cleaning and I noticed we forgot one important update:
"Zaza" came home in December 2010. She was 7 years old and that time and it's all just been SO AMAZING.

Bags for Zaza is an eco-friendly fundraiser I'm conducting on behalf of my brother&sister-in-law. They are in the process of adopting a little girl from Colombia; we don't know her name yet, so we call her Zaza. My family and I are using the fabric and scraps we already have, as well as donated fabrics and thrift-store finds, to create unique messenger bags, totes, and purses. All profits are donated towards Zaza's adoption.

I haven't checked this site in a very long time and today, I was just wondering how things turnd out-- what a joy to see that Zaza is home.
I'm so thrilled for Zaza and her family! Thanks for the update!!! I'm glad to have been a tiny part of it all...
