Ten Thousand Charms

Click on any picture for a larger view.

This vogue Bag for Zaza is for the chic woman who loves black and white. The entire bag is constructed of thick, embossed black fabric. The inside of the straps, the cell pocket and the back of the flap are heavy houndstooth wool. The XOXO trim is a grosgrain ribbon that gives the bag the 'WOW' factor. There is polk-a-dot silk ribbon accenting the cell pocket and inside pockets. The lime green accents on this bag are handled delicately in prize locations: the flap, the cell pocket, the tips of the straps and the trim on the inside pocket. The inside is lined with a dainty flowered print and the two large pockets are separated by a cute lime button on the trim. The flap is decorated with a variety of four different fabrics including the three dimensional black flower and twirls sewn on the white background.

Stunning! (OK, girls.... I almost kept this bag. I love it!)

Bid on this bag by leaving your name and a bid in the comments section. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s please. Highest bidder at 8am (pacific) on Saturday, July 5th gets the prize! Postage extra (from Phoenix, AZ).

Hi Jennie,

So bummed that this one is now beyond my budget, so I think you need to make this identical bag every week! It seems to be everyone's favorite :) You do amazing work and Zaza's fund will be overflowing in no time!

Thanks Becca. We'll definitely be keeping the popularity of this bag in mind when creating new bags. It's usually not possible to recreate an identical bag because we're working with remnants, donations, and re-purposed materials. But that's the fun of it!

Sorry, the anonymous was me. I'm new to this format and don't know what I did. Hopefully I'll do it right this time! I LOVE THIS BAG and I love what you're doing! I have 4 nieces & nephews adopted from China, Haiti & Texas. My final bid is $75.

We too are adopting from Colombia! This is a fun way to help these precious littles ones come home. God Bless your sewing!
