Flower Arranging

Click on any picture for a larger view.

Flower Arranging is an apropos title for a bag with designer fabric named “Garden Lattice.” The body of this cinched-in bag (Jennie C. calls it a cinchy-tote) is a sturdy black and off-white material decorated with a dainty trellis pattern.

On the front of the bag there is a sneaky cell phone/sun glasses pocket camouflaged with the lattice lines matching. The pocket is accented with two red buttons that have a similar square lined pattern on them. For ease of cinching the bag, the drawstrings are satiny red cord that slide smoothly through the bag and are have wooden beads dangling on the ends.

The sides and front of the straps are made from a beautiful black shiny fabric with textured wiggly lines. There is bright red top-stitching on the black straps for that chic look so many women are demanding in their designer bags these days. Red worsted wool makes up the interior of this gem as well as the inside of the straps. Black top-stitching decorates the red straps.

Inside Flower Arranging are double pockets of the reverse side of the Garden Lattice fabric for the POP on the bright red lining. Yes, that’s a row of daisies dancing across the top of the pocket for your viewing pleasure.

This darling bag measures 13.5” across the bottom, 12.5” tall and the straps are 23” long.

Flower Arranging is a classy bag in basic colors that will be the dream Christmas gift for the upscale woman on your Christmas list (or for you, if you LOVE it more than the upscale woman.)

Bid on this bag by leaving your name and a bid in the comments section. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s please. Highest bidder at 9pm (PST) / 10pm (MST) on Saturday, November 8th gets the BAG! Postage extra (from Phoenix, AZ). This bag was created by Grace.

Well thanks ladys! I don't usually like references to hips, but it this case I'm okay with it!!! I gave my AUTHOR daughter the job of writing my bag description. She has a way with words that her Mom lacks. Grace

You won't be disappointed in this beautiful bag. And it has about 45 hours of work into it. (Seriously, making bags is my mom's full time job!)

It does take me a while to make my bags, but I enjoy the creative process and the ability to earn money towards getting my 10th grandchild home!!!! Linda did exaggerate just a wee bit about the time it took this week -- it must be that "writer's license" she took. Thanks again for all your support. Love, Grandma Grace
