Pickwick Papers
is a mid-weight bag of cozy wools, cottons and upholstery samples. It's about the same thickness as a pair of lined wool slacks (which, incidentally, is the same thickness as my every-day BFZ bag).
The brown wool blend that makes up the majority of this bag is a high-school (extra credit) project that never happened.
The flap features a gold upholstery sample and a gold and brown tapestry that is also used on the side pocket and the base of both straps. The flap is finished off with a little antique wooden button.
The back of the bag features my standard double pocket (I use these all the time on my BFZ bag).
The bag and straps are lined with a simple coordinating plaid. The inside of the bag also has two pockets, with splashy red lining (just for fun).
P.S. I still have to stitch a little button on the back pockets and the inside pockets. In case you've always wondered, we put these little buttons on the pocket seems to reinforce them. Neat, eh?
Bid on this bag by leaving your name and a bid in the comments section. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s please. Highest bidder at 9pm (PST) / 10pm (MST) on Saturday, November 22nd gets the BAG! Postage extra (from Abbotsford, BC). This bag was created by Jennie C.

Love it! $35
That is a beautiful fountain you're posing in front of. Where is that?
Great bag. Should keep the nuetral-color lovers happy!
Teacher Linda.... did you spell neutral correctly? Just checking. You knew someone would say something. Glad it could be me. :)
Jennie - you look all bundled up. Must be a bit cooler in BC than the 87 degrees here in PHX.
Love it more :)
$40

I thought it looked funny, but that's what editors are for. Thank you, Editor Jill.
Kristy, JDP, Shelley, etc - thanks!
Rana - welcome to BFZ!
Linda - That beautiful fountain is in a park about .55 km from my office. It's new this year.
Jilly - that's not bundled up. A light denim jacket and fingerless gloves are merely stylin' fall accessories. Down feathers and wool is bundled up - I live in Canada for goodness sakes. Actually, in my corner of Canada - a raincoat and umbrella are more prevalent than down feathers and wool.
P.S. Did I make any spelling mistakes?
Well, you look cozy anyway, Jennie. And no errors! Good thing Linda is an author - so that she does have editors! :) You're welcome, LAC!
I'm in Manitoba and can out bundle anyone...great work this week love this bag!!

Jennie,
We are hitting into the upper 80's down here in AZ. Send some of the cool weather towards us so it feels like fall!!!!
Super bag, luv the colors.

Sorry Jennie, but it 'seams' to me there was an error in the description! lol...
I've never understood fingerless gloves. My fingers are what get the coldest so all my gloves must have fingers!
This bag is great -- and I like the new totes too!!!
Rana - you are the highest bidder! If you haven't already, please email BagsForZaza@gmail.com to arrange payment and shipping/pickup.
Note to me.....don't click on links to previous posts without putting drool protection over keyboard: I LOVE THIS BAG!!!!!!!!!
