Check!

Sewing machine. Check! New cutting mat and rotary cutter. Check! Lots of donated fabric and notions. Check! Yes, everything is in place for me to start sewing again. Thankfully, you don't have to wait for me to start snipping and stitching; the rest of the team has been busy, busy, busy!

On the news front, Linda has started a blog that is devoted to adoption news: ZazasMama.wordpress.com.

We have three amazing bags for you to bid on this week:
  • The Owl and the Pussycat
  • The Mother
  • The Secret Life of Bees
Bid on a bag by leaving a name and a bid in the comments section for the bag you want. Or you can just leave a (nice) comment as well. The highest bidder at 9pm (PST) on Saturday, January 31st gets the bag and ALL profits are put towards Zaza's adoption!

I am in fabric HEAVEN! My friend Cheryl was given some fabric samples which she passed on to me. There are gorgeous silks from India and all kinds of colors and textured fabrics from Belgium, France and the U.K. They range in price from $59. to $125 per yd. I don't know where to begin!!!!!! What a blessing to help bring Zaza home. Grateful, Grandma Grace

Oh my word - it's donations week around here. I just got this fabulous note from a friend:

"I have 5 boxes of fabric from years of sewing from my Mom.... For you :)"

Hi Jennie: Wow how much fun you will have going through those boxes! I sure had my creative juices flowing when I went through my bag. My friend chose coordinating fabrics which makes it easier to design a bag. Linda hasn't found her way over yet - I'm anxious to show her! Love, Grace
