Fun fun fun!

OK - Wacky Wednesday was FUN! There's still a pair of Cookies and Cream Glovies left (ladies large) ... and I think we'll be doing this again. Maybe not on a Wednesday, it could be a Free-for-all Friday. Or at Totally-Awesome Tuesday. We'll just have to see.

What's so NEATO about the crocheted items is that I can do it anywhere. I carpool with three groovy guys and our drive is about 50 minutes each way. They prefer that I don't crochet when I'm driving, but they're absolutely fine with me going all loopy when someone else is at the wheel!

Question #1: What colours of glovies are you interested in? (I have SO much yarn - thank you Cousin Dawn and Nancy B.)

Question #2: What colours of totes or messenger are you interest in? (Options here are more limited, but I thought it would still be polite to ask)

Question #3: How does one suffer from a cold for 2 1/2 weeks, enjoy 1 1/2 days of wellness and then get another virus that comes with a horrible sore throat and fever. How is that fair? You don't have to answer this.

Hello All!

It's good to be back, although we'd actually expected to be back with bags, alas, we are not. Linda's computers are down (which makes it a little difficult to upload photos), Jenn V. made a bag, but then sold it to a co-worker before it could be posted, Grace is reducing her production level a bit (probably to spend more time with her lovely grandchildren), and my sewing machine is enjoying it's spa vacation so much that I'm not sure it's coming home (it's been in for servicing for two weeks now).

Our 40 hour road trip gave me lots of time for crocheting: 1 newsboy hat, 2 dishcloths, and 2 scarves!

Did anyone else accomplish anything over the holidays?

A feast for your eyes!

Sturdy blue corduroy remnants from bedspreads for my little bro and sis make up this yummy bag.

The flap is accented with golden yellow, green and blue trim across the front of the bag. The side pocket features a splash of flowery gold trim.

A crocheted golden yellow flower is pinned to the front of the bag, but can be moved to the side pocket, flap, strap, wherever!

The flap and straps are lined with a green print from my grandmother's stash and one strap features a wee bit of those remnants from covering that first couch.






The inside is also lined with the subtle green print.

Fruit and veggie inside double pockets keep the feast theme going, while reminding you to get your 5-9 servings a day. And a large inside divider finishes up this bag.
