I had no idea this little scheme of mine would work out so well. I'm thrilled, grateful and overwhelmed. I have been amazed at the support I've received from family, friends and coworkers. I feel my first priority is to these people. They are giving me fabric, they are handing me cash, and they don't require trips to the post office. Plus, I get to see them walk around with my bags on their shoulders and it makes me feel all glowy inside (selfish, I know). I think I'll be able to make my family/friends/coworkers all happy within the next couple weeks, so until then, there might not be any new bags on the blog.
Sad for some of you out there.
But oh so happy for ... Grandma Grams, Marma-duchess, Ivone, Jill-the-Pill, Courtenary-Quite-Contrary, Cindy-Lu-times-two and two ladies who don't actually fit into the family/friends/coworkers category, but to whom I've made promises (Judy A. and Mandolin Mom).
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
P.S. There are rumors that others may join the BFZ sewing team ...
P.P.S. There are further rumors that higher goals will be set...

Now the rest of the world wants to know if the "promised" bags count toward the goal? Will the goal be increased? Are you seeing bags in your sleep? God bless you!
Zaza's Mama
Yes - the "promised" bags count. Yes - the goal will be increased! I will sew until I can sew no more (or until my hubby throws the sewing machine off the balcony).
