Out of all the bags I've made, I think Laughter and Latte #2 is my favorite. It is another bag made from the recent high end donation. The body of the bag is a beautiful pink and brown linen blend. Because the materials I used this week are lighter in weight I lined them all with fusible lining. I used brown velvet to edge the flap, made a raised bow from a chenille swatch and trimmed it with brown braid.

The front has a double pocket with a vintage brown button. I used heavy brown cotton blend and pink and brown fabric for the front, the flap and the back – trimming them with brown braid. Pink thread top stitching was used in several places for added interest.

The straps, sides and bottom measure 2 ½ inches, smaller than our standard bag. I put the cell pocket on the back using the last little piece of the pink, matching the bow for accent and a diagonal patterned chenille sample piece.

The inside is flower inspired with the sides and bottom a white cotton blend with embroidered brown flowers. The double pocket and front are a daisy embossed brown print topped with pink and brown and a vintage button.

The bag is smaller than usual and 12¾ x 11½. The strap is 42 inches and is one piece, with no knot.

This is also my favorite bag you've made, Mom. The pinks are so bright! And do you have to buy a new outfit each week to take pictures that match the bags???? Does Dad know about this????

I just happened to have a pink jacket and yes, the pants are new and Dad knows!!! Now I have to make a bag for me to match my outfit. Love, Mom

Wow, what a beauty & it matches Grace's outfit perfectly. If ever there was a bag to keep for oneself this would be the one. Any chance someone you know might gift it back to you?

Hi Lisa: Thank you for purchasing my bag. It's always interesting to me who gets the bag, where they are from and how they found out about the blog. If you have a moment I would love a comment from you. Thanks, Grace
