Bid on this bag by leaving your name and a bid in the comments section. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s please. Highest bidder at 9pm (PST) / 10pm (MST) on Saturday, February 28th gets the BAG! Postage extra.

I've been wanting to do a bag with the 3R symbol on it for a long time. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! The early homesteaders, like Laura Ingalls Wilder's family, did this naturally. We have a LONG way to go in today's consumerist, throw-away culture. How do we function in this technological age without continuing to damage our planet? I'm still searching for the answers.

Little House in the Big Woods is our standard messenger bag. The outside has 2 back pockets and one small side pocket for your mobile phone, keys or library card. The inside has 2 pockets, as well.

The outdoor pics represent the colours the most accurately.

Light-weight Denim - my own stash of remnants.

Wool Plaid (burgandies and greens) - an old kilt from my Aunty Del's closet.

Pinwale Corduroy (greens and turquoise) - my mom's stash of remnants and ???.

Fuzzy Floral Drapery (avocado and white) - Kera B's stash of remnants.

Would really like another smaller version of this cool bag minus the plaid. Love the arrows & their meaning, possible?

Alice - I forgot to get back to you. I really like the symbolism of this bag and I'm planning on doing more. I can't make any promises about size and fabrics - but I definitely take into consideration the suggestions I receive.

Thanks so much for your comment.

Am anxiously waiting for a western bag. Please leave me a message when one is available as I forget to check your site. Sent your Email address to a friend in Australia and she will pass it on. Kera B.
