The Mitford Snowmen – What’s black, white and red all over? It’s the latest bag from BFZ! This, mostly wool, bag is filled with cheery colors and festive prints. Checkers, polka dots, flowers and fun ribbon and cord embellish this classy masterpiece from Grace Nikander.It has 7 pockets, inside and out. The under flap pocket is made up of three sizes, small for sunglasses, medium for cell phone and a larger one for your secret shopping money. I decorated the pockets with vintage buttons (thank you Donna!).
The bag is made of bits and pieces from a black coat, plaid and black and white polka-dot pants, and three skirts. It’s amazing how it all melds together to make a fun bag. I fuse-lined the lighter materials for greater stability, making a sturdier bag.
And a big thanks to Granddaughter Whitney for helping Grandma by writing most of this description.

My mother, Grace, had 15 years of home-ec in high school. :o) (hee hee) She could be a professional seamstress, but she's too busy being a grandma.
