Start Thinking About Christmas!

Our bags make great gifts; there's nothing more original - so why don't you have a look at your Christmas list and start thinking about who would love a bag from Bags for Zaza.

In an effort to balance our lives, we're scaling back a tad and may not always post as many bags as we have in the past. There's dozens of ideas swimming around in our heads and an amazing amount of donations to inspire us, but only so many hours in the day to put it all together.

This we have four bags for you:
  • The Parade to Paradise
  • Fanny Crosby
  • A Wrinkle in Time
  • The Mitford Snowman
Bid on a bag by leaving a name and a bid in the comments section for the bag you want. Or just comment and tell us what you think. Bidding starts at $25 and increases by whole $s. The highest bidder at 8am (PDT) on Saturday, September 13th gets the bag!

The new bags and new blog look great, Jennie. How many meters of the luscious white corduroy do you still have? I love it!

Christmas...gosh, let's add in Valentine's, too. Just kidding. When at the store the other week, we saw them stocking up on the Christmas aisle already. That would be the month of August!?! That's okay, we love Christmas alot around here and bring on the Christmas bags and goodies you have Ladies!

I'm not sure about my stock of winter-white corduroy - it's at Jenn V's house right now. It IS quite delicious and I recall now that it was a donation from Ruth N. who I saw at the church picnic on Sunday and completely forgot to thank.

I work with foster children who are up for adoption, so I would like to encourage your family to consider adopting a child from foster care. It is free and you often get a subsidy and free Medicaid and college.

Hi Subversivesewer! Thank you for your work with foster children and for a heart that cares enough to leave a comment. I have 3 foster children that I'm in the process of adopting. You can read a bit about it here:

People adopt for so many different reasons and it's not always based on finances or logic or convenience. Our hearts pull us in different directions and for the family we're raising money for - they're hearts pulled them to Colombia.
