Pride and Prejudice

Click on any picture for a larger view.

The black suede flap is the first thing you notice as the pride of Pride and Prejudice. It's rich. It's soft. It's tantalizing. Then throw in the dancing flower with the dazzling button center for an engaging combination of sophistication and flounce. (Oh, I'm waxing eloquent tonight!)

The sides, bottom and straps of this bag are a black floral flocked fabric oozing in texture. There is also a generous amount of hearty black and white stripe used for the outside of the bag. It's stain and soil protected for your cleaning pleasure.

The cell pocket is a handsome houndstooth wool.

The front pockets and the lining are a fabulously lush white fabric with silver accents scattered amongst the flowers.

The inside pocket is a vintage homespun quilt block bookended in red broadcloth for a Canadian flag feel. This pocket is enhanced by a little red button, engraved with a palm tree.

This is the first knotless bag in our series - the strap isn't adjustable, but still so comfy. Be the FIRST to own one.

Make your friends prejudice by bidding on Pride and Prejudice.

...she's got dark hair brown eyes, and her mama's bid her heart good bye...

Great job gal's! Think you could keep on makin' bag until all the orphans are no longer "orphans"? That has been my 6yr.old's prayer for about a year now. "That ALL the orphans would be adopted." Miracles DO happen.

I'll bid $30

Hi Colleen, Linda (the Phoenix Bag Lady) is herding little girls around at camp this week - so I can't verify with her - but before she left I asked her if this week's bags were all the standard dimensions and she said, "Yes". We typically make the strap about 42". So that would be 21" from bag to shoulder. If you are the winning bidder and I have given you incorrect information, we won't hold you to your bid.

Hi Jenny... I am having fun making the second bag for next week! I have the black and red one here to look at while I sew.. I measured the strap and it is 41 inches.
This is more work than I expected so appreciate all your efforts even more! Grandma Grace
