Here is a chicken bag to cluck over. Farm Noises is a lovely tote for gathering eggs or going to the county fair, but could also be used by city folk. The barbed wire fabric and the pre-assembled chickie squares were mailed to me from Connie in California for such a bag as this. Recycled jeans combined with a yellow and cream striped denim make this patchwork purse something to cock-a-doodle-do about. The blue jean top is accented with a yellow vintage flower button as well as matching red heart and flower shaped buttons.
This is really two bags in one. The back is a cranberry red tweed with a handsome blue fringe, coordinating with the quilt-like front, but possessing a style of its own.
The straps and interior are made of the same yellow and cream denim for a durable wear. There is a large pocket inside the bag made from tiny Gymboree jeans with two usable pockets. The trim and lining of the pocket are a thick white cotton with embroidered red and yellow roosters.
Oh my word, this is a classy barnyard bag!
Farm Noises measures 16" across the top, 12" high, 3 3/4" wide at the bottom and the straps are 16" long.
